Grimm’s Fairy Tales – Snow White
This enchanting drawing comes from the Grimm’s Fairy Tales and depicts the famous scene from Snow White. It shows Snow White in the glass coffin, surrounded by the seven dwarfs who carefully watch over her. The fairy tale atmosphere is perfectly captured through the detailed portrayal – it is the moment when Snow White has fallen into a deep sleep. Snow White is not dead, she is only sleeping, and the hope for a happy ending always remains palpable. The mood of the fairy tale – a mixture of sadness, magic and hope – is impressively captured in this beautiful depiction.
The image preview is heavily reduced in size and protected with a watermark. In the purchased version, this will be removed.
Restoration & Quality
The motif was cleaned, retouched, imperfections removed and the colors adjusted. The image quality is good. However, please note: this vintage illustration is over 120 years old. We have not digitally altered the motif. It still has an authentic charm.

A natural paper with no or a light structure is suitable for this motif. The color of the paper should not be too white.
