Beautiful vintage illustration for your print project as a download! This design was the cover of a 1926 issue of Reigen magazine. Artist Walter Plantikow presents a playful and romantic scene against a black background. The focus is on a woman in a flowing red dress with blue bows, plucking at a pink blossom branch. Small figures frolic on the meadow before her, while in the background a couple shares a romantic kiss – a wonderful example of 1920s illustration style.
The image preview is greatly reduced and protected with a watermark. This disappears in the purchased version.
Restoration & Quality
The motif has been cleaned, retouched, gaps removed, and color-corrected. The image quality is good. Nevertheless, please note: this vintage illustration is over 100 years old. We have not digitally altered the motif. It still retains its authentic charm.

Printing recommendation
The motif looks particularly beautiful on matte natural paper, white or slightly beige, with little or no texture. This brings out the fine details and nostalgic atmosphere beautifully.
